Product Description
In metal melting, the different types of carburising agents are often referred to by abbreviations which usually reflect the composition or nature of the carburising agent. Common abbreviations and their meanings are listed below:
GPC: Graphite Petroleum Coke, mainly made from petroleum coke powder, is used to increase the carbon content of metals.
CPC: Calcined Petroleum Coke, is petroleum coke that has been calcined at high temperatures to increase carbon content and deoxidise oxygen.
CAC: Calcined Anthracite Coal, is a high-temperature calcined anthracite coal, also used for carbon enhancement and deoxidation.
Petroleum coke carboniser is the most widely used carboniser.
