Isostatic pressure graphite is a new product developed in nearly 50 years, which is closely linked with today's high technology. Not only in the civil use, in the national defense occupies an important position, is a new material, remarkable. It is the manufacture of single crystal furnace, metal continuous casting graphite crystallization, graphite electrode for electric spark processing and other irreplaceable materials.
There are three main forming methods for forming graphite products: 1, hot extrusion molding: such as the production of graphite electrode for steelmaking. 2, molding: used in aluminum carbon and electric carbon products. 3. isostatic molding: When raw materials of isostatic graphite production are compressed, carbon particles are always in a disordered state, so that the product has no or few differences in performance, and the performance ratio in the direction is not greater than 1.1. It is called "isotropic". Isostatic pressure graphite is widely used, and many manufacturers of isostatic pressure graphite have emerged. Because the domestic manufacturers started relatively late, the domestic isostatic pressure graphite production process lags behind the foreign countries. The index of isostatic pressure graphite produced abroad is better than that of domestic graphite. The difference between isostatic pressure graphite and high purity graphite is that the production process is different, and the density and performance of isostatic pressure graphite are better than that of high purity graphite.
Isostatic graphite is a broad market, a wide range of applied products, such as: isostatic graphite plate isostatic pressure crucible, etc. Main uses of isostatic pressure graphite:
1. Heater for cilla monocrystalline silicon thermal field and polycrystalline silicon ingot furnace: In the thermal field of cilla monocrystalline silicon, there are about 30 kinds of isostatic graphite components, such as crucible, heater, electrode, heat insulation shelter, seed crystal holder, base for rotating crucible, various round plates and thermal reflection plates. Among them, 80% of the isostatic pressure graphite is used to make the crucible and the heater. In the manufacturing process of the solar cell polysilicon wafer, the polysilicon broken block should be fused into the polysilicon square ingot. The heater of the ingot furnace needs to be made with isostatic pressure graphite.
2. Atomic energy industry: Nuclear fission reactor (high temperature gas-cooled reactor), graphite is a neutron moderator and an excellent reflector. Graphite materials with good thermal conductivity and high mechanical strength are used as wall materials facing plasma.
3. Discharge electrode: The discharge processing mainly with graphite or copper as the electrode is widely used in metal mold and other processing fields.
4. Graphite crystallizer for nonferrous metal continuous casting: Because the isostatic pressure graphite material has good performance in heat conduction, heat stability, self-lubrication, anti-infiltration and chemical ininertia, it becomes the material for making crystallization.
