The sealing principle of radial graphite block at the end of the kiln is to install a circle of graphite block on the end surface of the return hopper. Radial graphite block sealing at the end of the kiln is also a use method, but due to design problems and installation problems, many kiln end of radial graphite block sealing rotary kilns are not successful, most of them use the end surface sealing. In 2019, it was used in the Φ4m×56m rotary kiln built by HX Cement Company, and first used in the rotary kiln of LSJ Cement Company in March 2022, which achieved satisfactory results. HS kiln has improved the fixed sleeve, the end of the sleeve is peeled and clean, reducing the friction coefficient with the graphite block. Install with special tires, and finally check that the beating volume of the outer sleeve to the center of the kiln is within the range of 13mm. The installation of the guide bracket eliminates the influence of the radial sealing of the kiln tail on the radial graphite block. When the graphite block rotates around the fixed sleeve, the maximum expansion capacity of the spring will not exceed 15mm, which meets the design requirements. If the process operator operates normally, does not leak ash or a small amount of ash when opening and stopping the kiln, and the temperature of the return hopper does not rise sharply, the practice of HX cement companies has proved that the service life of radial graphite block sealing is guaranteed.
